With the help of my persuasive attitude, I will be able to persuade the employees to follow my vision. Besides that, since I am always ready to seek new opportunities even if needs me to change directions, I am able to assess and dismiss obstacle quickly. Since I enjoy influence, I try my best to make a favorable impression. This nature of mine motivates me to contribute wholeheartedly to the organization I am working. Along with that, since I value compliments, I am able to motivate the employees by complementing their efforts. For this, while discussing the performance of the employees in the meeting, I chiefly put emphasis on the positive aspects of their perf ormance. Considering the fact that I like to build a large network by knowing people, I will be able to embrace opportunities for brainstorming and friendly banter. Being highly enthusiastic, I am capable of inspiring my team so that they can develop new and effective strategic ideas that bear the potential to make the biggest immediate impact. Finally, being an optimistic individual, I chiefly focus on the positive aspects of a conflict in the organization. If the conflict is trivial or imposes very less impact on the organization, I generally follow the Avoiding' conflict style. My over-optimism that may involve setting deadline or goals that are unrealistic, can be a challenge for me as well as or my team. The unrealistic deadline may result in pressurizing the employees under me and as a result, they may get demotivated. Another way my over-optimism can be a challenge for me is when I take up multiple projects at a time and as a result, both I and my team face trouble to complete the project within the stipulated amount of time. My tendency to make friends often act as a challenge since I tend to share my personal information with new individuals. This not only adds potential risk to my personal life but also has the potentiality to hamper my professional life as well. Although, I avoid and show positive outlook in case of trivial conflict, my tendency to show strong emotional outburst while managing a severe conflict often makes the employees involved in the conflict feel uncomfortable. Considering the fact that my DiSC style is iD, I have huge tendency to get stressed out in situations where a project has become stalled or perceive time has been wasted. This frustration of mine imposes a negative impact on me as well as my team's performance. The first step that should be taken by each team member to enhance the effectiveness of our team is to have a clear understanding of the objective and purpose of the project. Each team member should ensure that they are keeping a correct balance between the non-project and project works. Since my DiSC style is iD, I will encourage my team to enhance their effectiveness so that our team can complete the project within th stipulated time period. In order to enhance the effectiveness, each employee should work to timescales as well as within the cost constraints of the company. The team members must report their progress against plans and produce the deliverables to the agreed specification. In order to complete the projects assigned to the team within a definite amount of time, I will encourage each member of the team to utilize their talents (Somech and Drach-Zahavy 2013). In order to keep the team members motivated, I will encourage them my emphasizing more on their positive aspects and contribution to the team. This in turn will make them feel valued and will enhance their loyalty as well as productivity. Each and every employee must have effective and friendly communication with each other through official intranet and online collaboration tool.
