The Inflence of Rivers and Climate on Baghdad, Iraq Essay

The Inflence of Rivers and Climate on Baghdad, Iraq The Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, along with their reaction to the climate, have both helped and hurt Baghdad, Iraq. The rivers provided pathways to other civilizations, allowing Baghdad to grow into the transportation and cultural center of Iraq. Its fertile soil, deposited by flooding, provided the area with the ability to become the birthplace of civilization through tremendous agricultural production. Although the flooding of the rivers greatly enhanced the area, it has also had disastrous effects, severely damaging food production and the culture of its people. Baghdad’s geographical location has allowed the city to flourish due to the availability of transportation. The high points of agricultural production led to a prosperous, well fed, and culturally rich society. George Washington Essay Ideas and How to Use Them

George Washington is one of the central figures of American history – as one of the founders of the United States of America in its modern form, the first US President, the general who led armies to victory during the defining War for Independence, he is hard to be surpassed by any other person. However important this other person is for the history of the country, without George Washington there wouldn’t have been any country in the first place. That is why it is only natural for tutors and professors to give their students a George Washington essay to write now and then – and expect them to treat the task with all seriousness. Where to Get Information on George Washington Frankly speaking, anywhere. There is hardly any other historical character that had been the subject of more research that George Washington. Depending on the seriousness of your task, however, you should look for more or less scientific sources. If you are writing an essay for high school, it will be more than enough to surf the Internet and look through a couple of historical websites, possibly to skim through a book or two you find in footnotes in Wikipedia. But if you write for college or university, you need more detailed information on George Washington. Find books by celebrated historians, preferably the ones who specialized in George Washington’s biography. Read them carefully, note the sources they used and, if necessary, do the same. George Washington History and What to Write about It If you have to write a history essay on Washington, choose a specific episode or period from his life. Being an important historical figure who lived in not so distant future, he left many accounts and testimonies from first-hand witnesses – in short, we know a lot about him, there is not shortage in sources of information you may use. Check the facts and choose a more interesting episode, which, in your opinion, has been defining in George Washington history and its influence on the history of the USA and the world in general – it is one of the best ways to write an interesting and captivating essay on this topic even if you don’t have a lot of time. George Washington Essay Paper Topics Try to separate what you know about George Washington into segments, judging different aspects of his personality: as a statesman; as a general; as a political leader; as a private person; and so on. As it is usual in the case of a topic that has a lot of information sources on it, your average George Washington essay paper will only benefit if you somehow narrow the subject matter down. If you try to encompass the entire topic, you are likely to write something rather shallow, and your tutor will be unlikely to give you credit for it. If, however, you take a small part of a larger topic, you will be able to write an interesting and deep account of it within the small space of an essay.

Managing Organizations and Leading People †MyAssignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Managing Organizations and Leading People. Answer: Introduction: Considering the fact that My DiSC style is iD, I have the capability to draw the attention of my employees whom I manage by my self-assured attitude. With the help of my persuasive attitude, I will be able to persuade the employees to follow my vision. This, in turn, will enable me to lead the employees to the final goal and create a forward momentum.Being highly optimistic, I am ready to face any risk or unexpected outcomes. Besides that, since I am always ready to seek new opportunities even if needs me to change directions, I am able to assess and dismiss obstacle quickly. Since I enjoy influence, I try my best to make a favorable impression. This nature of mine motivates me to contribute wholeheartedly to the organization I am working. Along with that, since I value compliments, I am able to motivate the employees by complementing their efforts. For this, while discussing the performance of the employees in the meeting, I chiefly put emphasis on the positive aspects of their perf ormance. Considering the fact that I like to build a large network by knowing people, I will be able to embrace opportunities for brainstorming and friendly banter. Being highly enthusiastic, I am capable of inspiring my team so that they can develop new and effective strategic ideas that bear the potential to make the biggest immediate impact. Finally, being an optimistic individual, I chiefly focus on the positive aspects of a conflict in the organization. If the conflict is trivial or imposes very less impact on the organization, I generally follow the Avoiding' conflict style. My over-optimism that may involve setting deadline or goals that are unrealistic, can be a challenge for me as well as or my team. The unrealistic deadline may result in pressurizing the employees under me and as a result, they may get demotivated. Another way my over-optimism can be a challenge for me is when I take up multiple projects at a time and as a result, both I and my team face trouble to complete the project within the stipulated amount of time. My tendency to make friends often act as a challenge since I tend to share my personal information with new individuals. This not only adds potential risk to my personal life but also has the potentiality to hamper my professional life as well. Although, I avoid and show positive outlook in case of trivial conflict, my tendency to show strong emotional outburst while managing a severe conflict often makes the employees involved in the conflict feel uncomfortable. Considering the fact that my DiSC style is iD, I have huge tendency to get stressed out in situations where a project has become stalled or perceive time has been wasted. This frustration of mine imposes a negative impact on me as well as my team's performance. The first step that should be taken by each team member to enhance the effectiveness of our team is to have a clear understanding of the objective and purpose of the project. Each team member should ensure that they are keeping a correct balance between the non-project and project works. Since my DiSC style is iD, I will encourage my team to enhance their effectiveness so that our team can complete the project within th stipulated time period. In order to enhance the effectiveness, each employee should work to timescales as well as within the cost constraints of the company. The team members must report their progress against plans and produce the deliverables to the agreed specification. In order to complete the projects assigned to the team within a definite amount of time, I will encourage each member of the team to utilize their talents (Somech and Drach-Zahavy 2013). In order to keep the team members motivated, I will encourage them my emphasizing more on their positive aspects and contribution to the team. This in turn will make them feel valued and will enhance their loyalty as well as productivity. Each and every employee must have effective and friendly communication with each other through official intranet and online collaboration tool. Effective communication among the team members not only enhances their ability to work as a team but also reduces the chances of conflict (Bradley et al. 2012).
